Handel's Messiah Cathedral Choir Concert

St. Muredach's Cathedral Choir with members of Cór Mhaigh Eo and Guest Soloists

Join us for St Muredach’s Cathedral Choir’s spectacular performance of Handel’s “Messiah” this November 11 2023. The performance is part of the Ballina 2023 celebrations and is the first time Handel’s “Messiah” will be performed in full in Ballina and the first time an entire oratorio will be performed in the town. Honouring our Past, Securing our Future

Over the past twenty-five years, major renovations have been undertaken both inside and outside the Cathedral. It is hoped to complete this work in the coming years in the lead-in to the bi-centenary celebration in 2027. The first project in this final phase of work is to safeguard the Cathedral‘s beautiful stained glass windows. To learn more, click here.
